Worthy of the Pearl is a collection of portraits inspired by Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer, reimagined through cultures and identities that have historically been underrepresented in classical fine art. What began as a study of light, portraiture, and timeless composition gradually evolved into a body of work centered on visibility, heritage, and belonging supported by contemporary digital composition.
